Well, she's only gone and fucking done it hasn't she?
Tezza May has gone and taken her big, blue Tory boot and put her foot right in it.
"Nah mate, I'm not going to call a snap election in the middle of Brexit negotiations and while that orange twat in the states is whipping his tiny nuclear nob out basically saying 'come ahead lads, 'mercia gawn shoot you down'. Nah that'd be ridiculous!" - Not quite an accurate quote but pretty much
Now she's gone from saying we need a sense of stability in the nation - which, by the way, no fucking shit - to basically saying "Right lads, let's see what happens when it all blue".
Currently, the Conservative government hold a majority of seats in Westminster with a grand total of 330 MPs. Coming up in second with the Silver medal are the opposition, Labour, with 229 seats. Since I'm Scottish I'll also mention that SNP got the bronze with pretty much a clean sweep of the true north...oh and the Lib Dems currently have 9.

"But what does it all mean?" I hear you say? (Which you definitely did because you just read it and at least said it in your head). Well, it means that should the Conservative currently wish do pass any movement in the House of Commons they need to convince maybe one or two other people to agree with them so they have a clear majority to move ahead with their plans. Or at least that's how it works as far as I can understand.
Now it seems that Theresa is fed up with having to convince and argue her points in the House of Commons and just wants the power to steamroll her Right-wing agenda across the now former EU nation of Great Britain. And you know what? She is probably going to do it.
When you think about, and I mean really think - like that kind of thinking that slowly brings on a deep, all encompassing depressive state - everything is pretty much set up for her to come in for a clean sweep.
The Labour party is currently in ruins. It's being led by a man who has lost the faith of the most staunch Labour supporters. Men and women whose towns and villages were ruined by the austerity of the Thatcher government, who have been born and raised in the arms of the NHS and benefits system which was out in place by a Labour government, who they have most likely voted for on every General, local and Scottish election since they were 18. Now they are going over to parties like UKIP because they think that the reason their grandkids don't have jobs or can't get a council house is because of the European immigrants who have come over to work here.
IT'S NOT THE IMMIGRANTS FAULTS THAT YOUR GRANDKIDS ARE LAZY!!
Without a strong Labour party to fight May's Tory government we seem set to undergo a further 5 years - minimum - of Conservative rule.
Also, this will give her the excuse she has needed to make any Brexit plans she has concrete. Up until now she wasn't democratically elected Leader of the UK, I know we vote for a Party and not for a person like they do in the USA, but she was put in place by her own party. Now if/when she wins this election she will have cause to say "You voted for me and my party now you can't say I'm not doing the will of the people because the people put me here! #ToryParty #WeAreTheBrexitBoys"
I don't have answers for you, I only have my own fears and worries and most of all my opinions.
No matter what happens we need to protect out NHS, protect the most vunerable in our society, protect the freedoms of the media, to tell the truth, and not be made to look like liars because our leaders do not agree with them.
But most of all USE YOUR VOTE! Because if you don't and the wrong people are put in power, it won't be the fault of those who voted for them, it'll be your fault for not voting against it. I don't care if you use it to vote for Labour, Tory, Lib Dem, Green or even UKIP. Just please remember to use it.
